By installing or using the SitLess Chrome extension or visiting this website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please uninstall the extension and stop using the website.
1. The service
SitLess is a free Chrome extension that helps you track sitting time and take regular standing breaks. It is provided as-is, at no cost, with no subscription or account required.
2. Use of the extension
You may use SitLess for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the extension without permission.
- Use the extension in any way that violates applicable law.
- Attempt to interfere with the extension's operation or security.
3. No warranty
SitLess is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee:
- That the extension will function without interruption or errors.
- That reminders will fire at exact times (subject to browser and system limitations).
- That the webcam detection will be 100% accurate in all environments.
Use SitLess as a helpful nudge, not as a medical device or definitive health tool.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of SitLess shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the extension.
5. Updates and discontinuation
We may update, modify, or discontinue SitLess at any time without notice. We may also push automatic updates through the Chrome Web Store. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated extension.
6. Open source
Parts of SitLess may be open source. Any open-source components are subject to their respective licenses. The extension uses MediaPipe Face Landmarker (Apache 2.0 License) for webcam motion detection.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
